| Gujarat is a vibrant land with a historical and cultural tradition. The state of Gujarat is renowned for its beaches, temple towns and historic capitals with its rich wildlife and hill resorts. With a 1600km long coastline, the state of Gujarat is dotted with some really fine beaches like those of Ahmedpur-Mandvi, Kutch-Mandvi, Chorwad and Gopnath. The coast with its interesting Portuguese forts, shore temples, princely port cities and beach palaces was a popular historical center. Gujarat has a number of wedding venues from the Mandvi Palace in Kutch, to the cities such as Ahmedabad, Baroda and Rajkot. |

| Mandvi is a picturesque town with many old buildings. Mandvi is located on the banks of the Rukmavati River, barely one km away from the Arabian Sea at the Gulf of Kutch. The town has a very pleasant climate throughout the year. The establishment of the town dates back to the late 16th century (1581 AD). |

This palace of His Highness Maharao Vijay Singhji, who ruled over Kutch in the 1940s, is an eclectic blend of architectural styles. The palace is nestled in 450 acres of lush greenery, with 2 kms of private beach.
